New Ecosystem Release: Clorio Connect Browser Extension Now Available

The Mina ecosystem now has a second browser wallet! Developed by the team at WeStake.Club, Clorio Connect is live on the Chrome Web Store.

The Mina ecosystem now has a second browser wallet! Developed by the team at WeStake.Club, Clorio Connect is now live — bringing a MetaMask-style interface to Mina users who want full control of their assets directly from their browser. It represents the latest milestone from a team that has been building on Mina since mainnet launch.

WeStake.Club has been part of the Mina ecosystem since mainnet genesis in 2021, making Clorio one of the longest-running wallet projects on the network. Over the years, the team has consistently maintained native apps for Windows, Linux, and macOS, as well as mobile, expanding their offering to include in-browser support.

Important: Clorio Connect is currently in beta and has not yet undergone a security audit. Users should exercise caution and only use amounts they are comfortable risking. Clorio Connect is developed independently by WeStake.Club and is not maintained by o1Labs.

A closer look at Clorio Connect

Clorio Connect brings an intuitive interface directly to the browser, offering flexible viewing modes across standard popups, a dedicated side panel, or separate windows. It is entirely self-custodial and features multi-account management alongside Ledger hardware wallet integration.

The extension is purpose-built to handle both standard network utilities and Mina’s unique architecture:

  • Asset Management: Send, receive, and track MINA with a password-protected vault and customizable auto-lock security.
  • Seamless Delegation: Easily stake your MINA and change validators directly from the interface.
  • Custom Environments: Built-in network switching with full support for custom REST endpoints.

By combining daily asset management with configurable environments, Clorio serves both everyday users and developers testing custom network environments.

Native zkApp & Privacy Support

Because Mina is built for zero knowledge applications (zkApps), Clorio Connect features an injected ZK provider, enabling users to seamlessly connect to zkApps, manage app-specific permissions, and sign fields, messages, and JSON payloads.

The team is currently developing advanced privacy-preserving features that lean into Mina’s zero knowledge strengths, including private credential storage, anonymous presentation generation for private login flows, and nullifier utilities for signature verification. These features are currently in review.

Together, these capabilities are intended to enable users to engage with the Mina ecosystem—from basic asset management to zkApp interactions—without leaving the browser.

Clorio Connect is available to download today through Chrome or Firefox. For users who prefer native applications, Clorio Desktop remains fully supported.

Disclaimer: Clorio Connect is an independent ecosystem wallet built by WeStake.Club. Clorio Connect and its associated applications are operated by WeStake.Club, which is solely responsible for wallet maintenance, security updates, key management, and user support. Clorio Connect has not yet been audited and users should exercise caution when using it.

About Mina Protocol

Mina is the world’s lightest blockchain, powered by participants. Rather than apply brute computing force, Mina uses advanced cryptography and recursive zk-SNARKs to design an entire blockchain that is about 22kb, the size of a couple of tweets. It is the first layer-1 to enable efficient implementation and easy programmability of zero knowledge smart contracts (zkApps). With its unique privacy features and ability to connect to any website, Mina is building a private gateway between the real world and crypto—and the secure, democratic future we all deserve.
