Mina Foundation and SmartOSC Corporation have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to unite in educating and empowering 1,000 developers from SmartOSC while driving innovation within the Mina Protocol blockchain ecosystem. This collaboration aims to advance Mina as the leading lightweight, scalable blockchain by promoting its ZK developments and launching industry-recognized certifications.
Accelerating Mina Blockchain Adoption
The partnership is designed to expand Mina Protocol’s ecosystem, a lightweight blockchain that enables privacy-focused decentralized applications through zero-knowledge proofs, by collaborating with SmartOSC, a global digital transformation and eCommerce agency that has worked with major brands such as Nike, Sony, LG Electronics, and eBay. Specializing in technology consulting, software development, and digital solutions for various industries, and headquartered in Vietnam, SmartOSC is designed to focus on developer education, grant programs, and industry certifications, starting with 1,000 in-house developers. Through initiatives such as internal hackathons, workshops, and developer training, the collaboration aims to equip SmartOSC developers with skills in o1js for developing zkApps (zero knowledge applications).
The MOU outlines several key objectives that both parties will pursue in the coming year:
- Supporting o1js Learning: Mina Foundation will provide support for SmartOSC developers to learn the o1js framework, offering resources and guidance to enable them to build advanced decentralized applications.
- Workshops: Mina Foundation will organize internal workshops to help SmartOSC developers gain hands-on experience with o1js.
- Grant Programs: Both organizations will explore potential grant opportunities for developers working on o1js projects, incentivizing innovation within the blockchain space.
- o1js Certificate: SmartOSC will promote and endorse the upcoming o1js Certificate, a professional accreditation designed to validate developers’ proficiency in o1js, further promoting blockchain education and credibility.
