The Mina ecosystem is lucky to have several blockchain explorers supporting its users. Among them, MinaExplorer, a community-operated explorer for visualizing data related to Mina Protocol networks.
Supporting the ecosystem since 2019, MinaExplorer has provided the community with UI and multiple APIs (including Rest and GraphQL) for interacting with the protocol, processing 100s of millions of requests over all of Mina’s supported networks.
Following Mina’s upcoming Berkeley upgrade, MinaExplorer will no longer be offering its API services, although its UI will be maintained and accessible. If you are a user of the services provided by Mina Explorer, and will be affected by this change, please take a look at some of the alternatives currently available to you below:
- MinaScan
- MinaSearch (in development by Granola)
- MinaIndexer (in development by Granola)
- Minataur
- Minaverse
For API services, Blockberry, an open API platform built by StakeTab, provides an extensive set of indexed blockchain data and is now available. Find more information in their documentation here: https://docs.blockberry.one/reference/welcome-to-blockberry-api
Mina Foundation would like to take this opportunity to thank the MinaExplorer team for their continuous contributions to the ecosystem, and wish them the best in future endeavors with Mina. For further information or support related to migration from MinaExplorer, please reach out to the Mina Foundation team in the #block-explorer channel on Discord.
About Mina Protocol
Mina is the world’s lightest blockchain, powered by participants. Rather than apply brute computing force, Mina uses advanced cryptography and recursive zk-SNARKs to design an entire blockchain that is about 22kb, the size of a couple of tweets. It is the first layer-1 to enable efficient implementation and easy programmability of zero knowledge smart contracts (zkApps). With its unique privacy features and ability to connect to any website, Mina is building a private gateway between the real world and crypto—and the secure, democratic future we all deserve.
