Mina Bug Bounty Program

Mina has launched its bug bounty program to uncover security vulnerabilities in preparation for mainnet launch.

We are excited to share the launch of the Mina bug bounty program to uncover security vulnerabilities in the network, in partnership with HackerOne, the number one hacker-powered pentest and bug bounty platform. This is a crucial component of Testworld, Mina’s adversarial testnet phase, in preparation for mainnet launch next year.

1% of the total supply in token rewards as well as cash have been dedicated to help secure the network, across both the Testworld Adversarial Testnet and bug bounty programs. Bug submissions that have been accepted will be rewarded based on a vulnerability tier system, ranging from Low to Critical. For instance, submissions deemed to be a Critical vulnerability are eligible for a $5000 USD cash reward. There is a pre-identified list of known vulnerabilities that are currently being addressed which are not eligible for bug bounty submissions.

For more information on the program and to submit your bugs for consideration, visit our page on HackerOne.

About Mina Protocol

Mina is the world’s lightest blockchain, powered by participants. Rather than apply brute computing force, Mina uses advanced cryptography and recursive zk-SNARKs to design an entire blockchain that is about 22kb, the size of a couple of tweets. It is the first layer-1 to enable efficient implementation and easy programmability of zero knowledge smart contracts (zkApps). With its unique privacy features and ability to connect to any website, Mina is building a private gateway between the real world and crypto—and the secure, democratic future we all deserve.
